Open invitation – Environmental Sustainability: Making a Difference by Dr Bob Brown

Professor Trevor Day, Pro Vice-Chancellor Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment and Bachelor of Environmental Science Course Directors, Dr Kelly Miller (Environmental Management & Sustainability) and Dr Mike Weston (Wildlife & Conservation Biology) would like to invite all CIE members to a guest presentation by Dr Bob Brown.

Bob BrownDr Brown is the former Leader of the Australian Greens and a prominent environmentalist and author. Since his retirement from Australian politics in 2012, Dr Brown has established The Bob Brown Foundation which aims to raise awareness and organise campaigns in relation to environmental issues affecting ecosystems and species around Australia and in Antarctica.

This event celebrates 30 years of environmental science courses at Deakin University and its predecessor Victoria College.
